Fish of a Lifetime Lodge is first and foremost a sport fishing camp. Our guests catching the fish of there dreams is our number one priority. Trophy pike, Walleye, and Native Brook Trout is what we're all about. The lodge is located beyond the highways 30 miles north of the town of Manitouwadge in Northwestern Ontario. Nestled among the trees on the shores of Pine Island overlooking 1,000 feet of beautiful sand beach. Within a few minutes of Snapping Turtle lakes most prolific trophy Pike, Walleye, and Brook Trout waters, your Wilderness Kingdom awaits!
Lodge History
Fish of a Lifetime Lodge was established by Native settlers in the early 1900's. Since our acquisition of the lodge in 1976, our team has put in many hours of restoration to the existing historical monument in addition to the construction of 4 new 2500 square foot traditional open concept log cabins. This historical fish factory is somewhere that we are proud to call home.
One Team, One Mission
Upon your arrival via float plane to fish of a lifetime lodge you will be greeted by our humble and tremendous staff. Owner, manager, and renowned guide Matt Sobiera will personally provide you with a guided tour of the lake free of charge to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident during your fishing trip of a lifetime. We also offer daily guided trips at a rate of $399.00 US which includes the provision of a home cooked shore lunch meal with all the fixings- including fresh walleye, pike, potatoes and onion, baked beans, cole slaw, juice, coffee, fruit, and cookies. Whether you seek the professional experience of our local guides or not, when you arrive back to the docks you will be greeted by our dockhand staff who will be happy to carry your equipment and fillet all those delicious walleye you caught. It is our mission and pleasure to do everything in our power to ensure that every guest has the fishing adventure of a lifetime.
